Mr. Sébastien Morin is the Independent Director of WesternZagros. He has over 20 years of industry experience in both the Upstream and Downstream including roles in drilling and completions, reservoir development, production, customer service and distribution while holding progressively more senior technical, managerial and executive positions with Imperial Oil (Esso), ExxonMobil and Gran Tierra Energy.
Mr. Morin’s leadership experience covers a wide diversity of operations in both North and South America, mostly onshore but also with offshore experience in the Gulf of Mexico. Throughout these operations he has a demonstrated expertise in initiating and implementing sustainability programs, improving operational efficiencies, integrating acquisitions into operations teams and managing full field development projects that increased productivity and profitability.
Mr. Morin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada and is a Professional Member of APEGA.
